Personalized, Purposeful, and Progress-Driven
At Accelerate Academy, every learner receives a Personalized Education Plan (PEP) built in collaboration with teachers, specialists, and family. The PEP identifies academic goals, instructional strategies, and the specific curricula that will drive meaningful, measurable growth for that student. Our educators can draw from a robust menu of research-based programs and supplemental resources, selecting—or blending—the tools that best match each child’s profile:
SPELLING TO COMMUNICATE (S2C)
– Spelling to Communicate (S2C) works by coaching the motor rather than testing knowledge. Many individuals with autism and other communication differences know far more than they can show because their bodies don’t reliably do what their brains intend. In S2C, the practitioner gives precise, action-based prompts (like “lift your elbow” or “tap the letter”) to help the person’s motor system learn the purposeful movement of pointing to letters. Over time, this builds the skill of spelling out words, sentences, and complex thoughts—allowing the individual to communicate their true intelligence and participate fully in learning and life.
Math-U-See
– visual, hands-on math instruction that emphasizes mastery before moving on
Orton-Gillingham (OG)
– direct, multisensory, structured literacy instruction provided by a certified OG tutor or teacher, ideal for students with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences
Acellus Academy
– self-paced, video-rich online courses with adaptive assessments that allow students to accelerate or review as needed while teachers monitor real-time data
Project-Based Learning (PBL) Kits & Teacher-Designed Units
– interdisciplinary projects that weave history, science, ELA, and math into authentic, real-world challenges
Teacher-Created Lessons
– custom materials developed by our skilled educators to close gaps, extend learning, or tap into student passionsTeachers and tutors continually monitor progress, adjust pacing, and layer supports—from tactile manipulatives and 1-to-1 direct instruction to small-group discussions and technology integration—so every student gets the right instruction, at the right time, in the right way.
